Review : The Haters by Jesse Andrews

This book is simply awesome. I really enjoyed reading it. This is the first Jesse Andrews’s book that I read and it was amazing. I loved the story and all the characters.
The story is simple but full of fun. Three teenagers trying to start their own band and going on a road trip. All of them talking about sex and drugs and having fun. The story did end too soon but still it was good. The ending was also really good and real. But I really didn’t wanted the story to end so soon. If you read the book, you’ll understand what I’m talking about.
The characters of this book are really great. I really liked how the author, Jesse Andrews, gave every character such a great personality. This book was crazy fun to read.
So what are you waiting for? It’s a perfect young adult book. Read it and have fun.

For Wes and his best friend, Corey, jazz camp turns out to be lame. It’s pretty much all dudes talking in Jazz Voice. But then they jam with Ash, a charismatic girl with an unusual sound, and the three just click. It’s three and a half hours of pure musical magic, and Ash makes a decision: They need to hit the road. Because the road, not summer camp, is where bands get good. Before Wes and Corey know it, they’re in Ash’s SUV heading south, and The Haters Summer of Hate Tour has begun.
