Review : The Forbidden Wish by Jessica Khoury

This book was all I wanted right now. I really loved it!! I’m more of a Young Adult Reader and I basically have only YA books and this is now one of my favourite books.

I mean this book has everything — friendship, love, girl power and magic. What else would you ask for? (Maybe a sequel of the book 😋) But really, this is the first Jessica Khoury’s book that I read and I’m totally in love with it. I just want to thank her for publishing such an amazing book and I hope you’ll release the sequeal of this book soon.
I loved the characters and specially I totally fell in love with the name Zahra. I mean it’s so cute and unique. Everything about this book is great. The story is great and the ending is also great. I enjoyed reading it and I know you’ll like it too. So, let me know how you felt about this book.

She is the most powerful Jinni of all. He is a boy from the streets. Their love will shake the world… When Aladdin discovers Zahra’s jinni lamp, Zahra is thrust back into a world she hasn’t seen in hundreds of years—a world where magic is forbidden and Zahra’s very existence is illegal. She must disguise herself to stay alive, using ancient shape-shifting magic, until her new master has selected his three wishes. But when the King of the Jinn offers Zahra a chance to be free of her lamp forever, she seizes the opportunity—only to discover she is falling in love with Aladdin. When saving herself means betraying him, Zahra must decide once and for all: is winning her freedom worth losing her heart?
