Review : Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

I just finished this book last night and I couldn’t wait any much longer to write this review. I had to get this out. I’m so in love with this book. But honestly I’m in love with the main male character, St. Clair. This book was what I needed right now. I was so annoyed with myself at first for not reading book sooner. This book is so cute. I can’t even explain what I was feeling when I was reading this book. The book is that good.

The story is about a girl, Anna, who is sent to a whole different country for completing her high school. Her parents sent her to France (the most romantic city in the world). But Anna was sad to leave her home, Atlanta, and her friends behind. But then she makes new friends and falls in love with her new best friend, St. Clair, who is really handsome, charming and has really great hair. Every girl in the school is crazy for him. But he’s TAKEN!!

When I read the first few chapters of this book I was sucked right into the book and I couldn’t get out from there. It is full of drama which holds you throughout the whole book. I tried to put down the book few times but I couldn’t because I wanted to know what would happen next. I really liked all the characters. My favorite character from this book is obviously, as I told you before, St. Clair. I mean, if you have read this book then you know what I’m talking about and if you haven’t read it yet then, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?? Go and read this book right now. If you love YA books, then you’ll surely love this one.

Anna can’t wait for her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a good job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. So she’s not too thrilled when her father unexpectedly ships her off to boarding school in Paris – until she meets Etienne St Clair, the perfect boy. The only problem? He’s taken, and Anna might be too, is anything comes of her crush back home. Will a year of romantic near-misses end in the French kiss Anna awaits?
