Review : Melody’s Key by Dallas Coryell

One day I got this DM asking me for reviewing a book and this is like a first for me because I’ve never been approached by any author before. So, I was really excited to read this book. Dallas sent me a copy of his book in exchange for an honest review. Honestly I wouldn’t had read or known about this book if Dallas wouldn’t had approached me and I’m so glad that he did because I really liked this book.

I really loved the story and all the characters in it. There were so many cute parts in it that melted my heart. I really loved how the whole story is told in a magical and poetic way. There are also some songs in this book which you can actually listen to in Dallas’s Youtube channel. My favorite character from this book is Mason. I don’t know but he had this amazing personality that I really loved. The best part about this whole story that I loved, was the bonding of the family. I really loved how Tegan and her sister, Ryleigh, have so much fun together. And also loved how her whole family has a cool vibe and how they support each other. The only thing that bothered me was that this story is longer than it should be. I kind-of got bored when I was halfway through the book but then the ending got interesting. I did cried a little at the end but either way the book is really great. I would definitely recommend it if you love romance, art and music.

Tegan Lockwood’s dreams were dead, sacrificed on the noble altar of duty before they ever had a chance to live. Her entire existence was disappearing into the abyss of apathy as she labored her days away keeping her family’s struggling business alive. There would be no emotion, no color, no beauty in her life. That is, until a mysterious visitor begins to draw her out of the darkness of her past towards something that will challenge the boundaries of her world, and unlock the most deeply held secrets of her heart.
